The key as has been stated is to keep up with the oil. I had explained that I was looking for a wagon because I needed the space to carry around my gear and car camp. You get some incredible band for the buck. There isn't actually any fuel leak - are you saying you have a fuel leak, or is it just the smell? Some funny stuff you read on the internet. Other than that you have your typical subaru suspension bushing wear, thin paint, creaky interior, etc. Probably hit 5psi once in a blue moon. With precise steering, a compliant ride and agile handling, it's fun to drive.

It was great for most things, my only real complaint was noise at highway speeds. I only got about 5 miles down the road though before Mark Miller called me and told me to come back. The Subaru recall began on June 17, 2015. I'm 25 and she's 24. Lol, but how long will it last? First, you ask 5 people for their opinions, and you will get 5 different responses. Not a good first car for teenagers but more for older experienced drivers yea. It has so much personality and so much power but it also just eats up the miles on a long drive.
I have owned it for 4 years and have not had any problems. Even the alumitone-painted plastic withstood a year of hard use. I apologize for not being clear about the tune. They consume oil like nobodys business. I will open one of my six mouths, and sing the song that ends the earth. I couldn't ask for a better vehicle! Still, there were no unusually worn or worn-out surfaces or switches. Obviously I'll be spending more to get the 2011 but don't want to buy something that is gonna blow up on me with a small amount of tuning.
Neither my friend nor myself really beat on our cars, outside of an occasional full boost freeway on-ramp up to speed, so I don't know how they'd hand regular beating. Is there an easy to identify if the car is having that problem? Synthetic gear oil Redline helps too. . It's a pain in the ass in traffic, but nothing else is wrong with it so it doesn't neccessitate replacement. Its 300-hp, turbocharged four-cylinder engine accelerates like a high-performance V8, while delivering reasonable fuel economy 20 mpg , albeit on premium fuel. I was also coming due for brake rotors. They kept the car for 3 days, then called me to tell me it was fixed.
All I did was regular maintenance outside of the rear struts common. When I arrived they said they had changed transmission fluid and found some metal particles, but not enough to be concerned with. With studded snow tires it was unbeatable in snow. Guess i spent more then I thought. Remaining factory warranty obviously would be a big plus. I forgot I did the rear struts because of the clunk pissing me off and front strut mounts. Of course, driving off the lot, the car started to make the noise again.
At this point, I felt like something shady was going on so I left and never came back. Don't floor it in high gears at 2k rpm. I personally couldn't baby a tranny on a car like that, they're just too much fun to drive. It's 100% worth your time. Four Doors, A Usable Trunk And Goes Like Stink.
